Week 3: Publishing on the web

Thing 3 was not alien tme as I have previously used WordPress on several occasions, so I played it safe with this ‘thing’ and chose to use WordPress again, I have always wanted to use Blogger but it’s a whole new world and I don’t fancy trying it out just yet, no matter how many pretty pink themes there may be on it!

I love blogs (reading them and writing them) and if I didn’t have any pressing commitments at home then I would have set up and regularly maintained one on beauty products – reviews, wishlists and latest trends. I have an XXL makeup case that’s overflowed in to 2 makeup bags, so I wouldn’t be lacking inspiration any time soon..

First post

Hi everyone!

By looking at your posts it seems like I’m the late starter in the blog posts.. Better late than never I suppose. What I’ve been doing is drafting up the ‘thing’ report in Microsoft Word and then emailing it to myself to make final edits at home. Trust me, it’s now productive than it sounds.

I’ll take this opportunity as a chance for me to introduce myself..

I’m Leilani Chee-A-Kwai, Library and Information Apprentice at John Jamison Library (WXM). I started in March and can not stress how much I love working here, everyone is so friendly yet professional – it’s a happy balance. I’m currently studying towards a Level 2 QCF in Business & Administration. Some of you may already recognise my name as I usually end my emails in l have a nice day”

As the tagline suggests, I love dogs especially my ones – they are such living and loyal animals.

I love spicy food and have double joined index fingers!

My manager was really encouraging my participation in the 19 Things project, one of my other colleagues is also taking part – Gill McGlashan.

Well I Think that’s enough from me for now but please feel free to comment anything you like!
